A colleague sent along a link to a video created by Kansas State University Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology Michael Weschin and 200 of his students. Michael and his 200 students used Google Docs to collaborate on a document that summarizes some of the most important characteristics of students today - how they learn, what they need to learn, their goals, hopes, dreams, what their lives will be like, and what kinds of changes they will experience in their lifetime. Content from the document was then used to create the video:
The 4 minute and 44 second video has had over 2.5 million views since posted in October 2007. According to Michael:

Superb! "A Vision of Students Today at Kansas State University" depicts the cultural reality of our times with the fast evolving communication technologies. As it captures such realities, it also tells us, people in the academe, what types of learners we have and suggests that we consider instructional contents and materials that are relevant and responsive to the current technological trends of our times. It's brilliant and truly relevant.
